Why privacy and accessibility matter

A heartfelt message should never cost your privacy — or shut anyone out. How Magic Wishes keeps cards on your device, hosts in the EU, and stays readable.

Sending a heartfelt message should never cost your privacy — or anyone's ability to read it. Magic Wishes is built with both values at the core.

Private by default

Cards live on your device. Your contacts stay there with them — they're never uploaded to the cloud. You can delete your account and data in two taps. The app is hosted in the EU and follows strict European privacy laws, so your data never leaves European jurisdiction.

Readable for everyone

Accessibility counts just as much. Magic Wishes meets the highest WCAG-AAA contrast standard, so every text combination stays readable even for eyes that aren't twenty anymore. Touch areas are generous; dark mode and font-size from your system settings carry through.

That means older relatives or friends with low vision can send and receive cards without a hurdle.

Calm and sustainable

We host carbon-neutral in Frankfurt and deliberately skip pushy notifications and gimmicky animations. What you get is a quiet, ad-free experience — the magic comes from the connection between people, not from marketing.

In a time when so many apps mine attention, we wanted to show it can be done differently.
